The exchanger is born in a single aluminum tube and without welding. Beretta therefore introduces a new double distribution mixer: a mechanical damper with a calibrated weight which opens or closes a part of the venturi section so as to divide the modulation range into two stages (smaller section with low air flow or larger with high air flow rates). Beretta has also developed a specific silencer in the air intake to reduce any resonances generated by the new mixer.
