Mel Cloud, Wi-Fi control
MELCloud is the new Wi-Fi solution that allows you to control your Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners from a PC, Tablet or Smartphone connected to the internet.
MELCloud is the new Wi-Fi control for your Mitsubishi Electric system! Taking advantage of the support of the cloud (the "Cloud") to transmit and receive information and the dedicated Wi-Fi interface (MAC-567IF-E), you can easily control your system wherever you are via PC, tablet or smartphones; all you need is an internet connection.
Logging into MELCloud is simple and can be done in two ways:
Through the dedicated App (Smartphone and Tablet). Through the main Browsers (Smartphone, Tablet and PC). The main supported Operating Systems are: Microsoft Windows 8, Apple iOS / OS , X Android
System registration
To activate the MELCloud service it is necessary to register the system. Once the interface has been connected to the internal unit and paired with the router, it is possible to proceed with the registration of the system itself. To activate Wi-Fi control, just go to the www.melcloud.com website, register as a user and register the interface used. From now on it will be possible to exploit all the potential of the MELCloud service and manage your air conditioner or ECODAN heat pump from anywhere via the internet.
Control for air conditioners
Main functions:
On / Off Mode (Auto/Heat/Cool/Fan) Ventilation speed Programmable weekly timer Flaps angle adjustment Room temperature detection and setting Weather information of the installation location (the completeness of the functions depends on the model of the indoor unit connected)
System elements:
Smartphone, Tablet or PC Access Points / Routers (WPS) Necessary requirements: The router must have the WPS button The accepted communication protocols are WPA2-AES or WPA2 Mixed Mode Wifi interface
An interface is required for each Mitsubishi Electric indoor unit or hydronic module that you want to control via Wi-Fi. The connection between the interface and the indoor unit/hydronic module is made using the special cable supplied
