R32: a refrigerant for the future
The attention that has always been paid to environmental protection issues has led Mitsubishi Electric to develop a product that reflects the sensitivity of the international community on the issue of climate change, a problem that has long been raised by the European Community and subject to present and future legislation . The R32 refrigerant used in the MSZ-LN series air conditioners is characterized by a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than the refrigerant gases used up to now in residential air conditioning, reducing its potential negative impact on the environment.
Seasonal Energy Efficiency beyond class A+++
The characteristics of the refrigerant used and the continuous technological innovation have made it possible to create a product with extremely high performance. The seasonal yields highlighted by the SEER/SCOP values allow classification in class A+++ for both cooling and heating.
Full lineup
Available in 4 different sizes, 25, 35, 50 and 60, the MSZ-LN series air conditioners are suitable for any type of environment, from the bedroom to a large living room and, thanks to the use of 6.35/9.52 mm pipes up at size 50 they are compatible with most of the existing predispositions.
Air distribution
The totally revolutionary geometry of the double deflector guarantees optimal air distribution; it is possible to independently direct the outgoing air flows from the right and left side of the unit.
3D i-see sensor
The 3D i-see sensor presence sensor, integrated in the MSZ-LN units, has new functions compared to the one installed in the Kirigamine MSZ-FH series for an increase in indoor comfort. Thanks to the new implementations, not only is it possible to direct the flow directly/indirectly, but functions are available that "learn" the habits of the occupants and optimize the efficient and comfortable operation of the unit. The even airflow function, for example, "records" the occupancy profile of the room, creating a mapping that allows the most frequented areas to be optimally air-conditioned based on history.
MELCloud - Energy consumption monitoring NEW
The ability to manage and monitor the air conditioning system remotely is a consolidated solution in the Mitsubishi Electric product range thanks to the MELCloud platform. It allows you to promptly adjust the air conditioning systems from Smartphones and Tablets via a dedicated app. The new MSZ-LN units are not only compatible with MELCloud, but are already designed incorporating the WiFi interface for connection to the network, which makes them ready for the Cloud solution without the need for additional components. One of the new features that MSZ-LN is already equipped with is the ability to monitor electricity consumption via the MELCloud® application, to always have efficiency under control.
Advanced filtration
The MSZ-LN units' Quad Plus Plasma filtration system achieves a new record in the level of air cleanliness. It is in fact capable of retaining particles up to PM2.5, i.e. with a diameter of less than 2.5 μm.
Quad Plus Plasma
This distinctive feature makes the unit ideal for households particularly attentive to air quality or for installation in environments with often compromised ambient air (e.g. rooms overlooking trafficked areas, in cities, near production activities...). Through the use of Plasma Quad Plus technology, the unit is able to eliminate bacteria and viruses thanks to a technology that exploits an electric field and a series of electric discharges through which the air introduced into the room passes. With Plasma Quad Plus technology, 99% of the bacteria present in a 25m3 room is neutralized in just 115 minutes.
Dual Barrier Coating
With the MSZ-LN unit, Mitsubishi Electric introduces another revolutionary technology: Double Barrier Coating. During operation, the dust and impurities introduced during conditioning operations are deposited on the internal components, especially the battery and fan, increasing the machine's consumption by up to 18%. With Double Barrier Coating the internal components of MSZ-LN are treated with a second protective layer which prevents the deposit of dust and impurities even after long periods of time, reducing consumption and eliminating the need for unit maintenance in relation to this problem.
