Sono costruite in acciaio inox e ed il motore è raffreddato tramite il liquido pompato che viene aspirato attraverso la griglia filtrante posta nella parte inferiore della macchina. Trovano applicazione nel sollevamento, movimentazione di acque chiare, con prelievo da vasche o da pozzo. Trovano vasta applicazione sia in ambito agricolo, per uso irriguo, che in quello della domestico, per pressurizzazione con autoclave della rete idrica.
