RAPAX extension
RAPAX V3 water heaters can completely eliminate the consumption of gas to heat domestic water because they use the same principle as heat pumps. They are one of the new, effective Immergas solutions for making the best use of renewable energy sources. Floor-standing versions are available with 270-litre (RAPAX 300 V3) vitrified steel storage tank, or 200-litre (RAPAX 200 V3) storage tank and a wall-mounted version with 100-litre vitrified steel storage tank (RAPAX 100 V2).
RAPAX 300 V3 is particularly suitable for renovating and building heating systems in villas or single houses when it is necessary to cover
50% of domestic hot water consumption with renewable energy sources. RAPAX 100 V2 was created to complete the offer
of systems both for new homes, especially condominiums, and for the replacement of existing gas or electric water heaters. The entire range represents an excellent alternative to solar; can be used in systems built to operate without gas for the production of domestic hot water and in combination with a heat pump, for
to air condition.
All RAPAX V3 water heaters are equipped with specific predispositions to make the most of the photovoltaic system and, in the RAPAX 200/300 SOL V3 versions, the combination with solar thermal systems.
REDUCED CONSUMPTION AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
The RAPAX V3 series greatly reduces polluting emissions compared to a traditional gas water heater. Thanks to the heat pump, it uses the heat in the air as a source of renewable and free energy to heat the water with improved COPs. Furthermore, through an electrical predisposition, it can accumulate the excess energy produced with the photovoltaic system in the boiler. The RAPAX 200 and 300 SOL V3 versions can be combined with a forced circulation solar thermal system to further reduce electricity consumption.
SILENT OPERATION
RAPAX V3 water heaters have a low noise impact making them particularly suitable for installation in inhabited rooms as well.
EASY INSTALLATION
They can also be installed in unheated rooms such as garages, laundries and closets, and do not require significant masonry work apart from any holes for air ducting in solutions with intake and expulsion of air from the outside. Also supplied, as an option, is a supply kit with DHW expansion tank and safety valve necessary for the installation of this type of appliance.
PRACTICAL ADJUSTMENT
The RAPAX 100 V2 wall-hung version has a display in the central part of the casing, allowing the installer to place the water heater at the desired height from the ground and providing the user with maximum convenience for setting and viewing the main operating parameters.
