Low NOx gas wall-mounted water heater for outdoor installations without flue pipes
EXTERNO is an A3 type instantaneous gas water heater with frontal flue gas discharge and suitable for outdoor installation without flue gas evacuation ducts. The water heater is equipped with a combustion unit which, in combination with a LOW NOx micro-flame burner, guarantees polluting levels below the parameters imposed by the severe limitations of the European ErP directive. EXTERNO has been designed exclusively for outdoor installations such as on balconies, attics or dedicated shafts. The casing is made up of two IPX5D insulated printed shells and the water circuit inside the appliance is protected with electrical resistances, fitted as standard, and managed by the electronic board. These measures allow EXTERNO to function correctly up to extreme conditions of -20°C.
- All appliances are supplied as standard with a remote control (and 10-metre long connection cable) featuring a large interface display and simple control buttons, to make adjustments easy and intuitive.
SOLAR FUNCTION
All models in the EXTERNO range can be easily installed in combination with a solar thermal system for the production of domestic hot water. The hydraulic circuit with its components have been designed to operate even at high temperatures of the water exiting the panels.
ECO FUNCTION
Using the remote control, you can activate the ECO function. When operating in ECO mode, the EXTERNO water heater will automatically set the hot water outlet temperature to 42°C and a reduced power of approximately 75% of the nominal power.
CHILD PROTECTION
If the hot water temperature is set to a very high value, each time the water heater is turned OFF, the delivery temperature will automatically return to 48°C so that the next withdrawal takes place in complete safety.
The EXTERNO water heater series does not have on-board controls. The control, setting and temperature adjustment functions of the ACS are delegated to a remote control supplied as standard, complete with connection cable. The interface display and control keys have been designed to make the use of the control as simple and intuitive as possible. In the event of an anomaly and/or malfunction of the water heater, the display indication is accompanied by an audible signal.
