Wall-mounted Low NOx gas water heater for outdoor installations without smoke ducts
EXTERNO is an A3 type instantaneous gas water heater with front flue outlet and suitable for outdoor installation without flue gas evacuation ducts. The water heater is equipped with a combustion unit which, in combination with a LOW NOx type micro-flame burner, guarantees pollutant levels below the parameters imposed by the severe limitations of the European ErP directive. EXTERNO has been designed exclusively for outdoor installations such as on balconies, attics or dedicated shafts. The casing is made up of two molded and IPX5D insulated shells and the water circuit inside the appliance is protected with electrical resistances, fitted as standard, and managed by the electronic card. These measures allow EXTERNO to function correctly up to extreme conditions of -20°C.
- All appliances are supplied as standard with remote timer control (and 10-metre long connection cable) equipped with a large interface display and simple control keys, to make adjustment easy and intuitive.
SOLAR FUNCTION
All models in the EXTERNO range can be easily installed in combination with a solar thermal system for the production of domestic hot water. The hydraulic circuit with its components have been designed to be able to operate even at the high temperatures of the water leaving the panels.
ECO FUNCTION
Through the remote control, it is possible to activate the ECO function. When operating in ECO mode, the EXTERNO water heater will automatically set the hot water outlet temperature to 42°C and at a reduced power of approximately 75% of the nominal power
CHILD PROTECTION
If the hot water temperature is set to a very high value, each time the water heater is switched OFF, the delivery temperature will automatically return to 48°C so that the next withdrawal takes place in complete safety.
The EXTERNO series of water heaters does not have controls on the machine. The DHW temperature control, setting and regulation functions are delegated to a remote control supplied as standard, complete with connection cable. The interface display and the control keys have been designed to make using the control as simple and intuitive as possible. In the event of an anomaly and/or malfunction of the water heater, the indication on the display is accompanied by an audible signal.
