General characteristics
DIVACONDENS F28 D
DIVACONDENS D is the condensing heat generator for traditional heating systems. The tried and tested Ferroli technology in the field of traditional wall mounted boilers has been enriched by increasing the performance of the product in the simplest way, with the use of a robust recuperator which preheats the primary circuit using the residual heat of the exhaust fumes.
ADVANTAGES
Robust post-condenser powered by the closed circuit of the primary circuit, i.e. without the inlet of external mains water. The heat exchange with the fumes takes place inside large diameter water passages.

Condensate collection device to protect the air pressure switch, for regular combustion even in the presence of very cold external temperatures
ECO function in DHW for greater savings in the period of low use of hot water
Predisposition for solar systems: prepared for the production of domestic hot water combined with solar panel systems

THE BOILER CONTROL
The control box of DIVACONDENS D consists of an easy to use interface with a backlit display. Using the buttons, it is possible to easily adjust the heating flow temperature, the domestic hot water setpoint, switch the generator on/off or activate the comfort function, monitoring the status of the boiler. The control panel is completed by a traditional pressure gauge which can check the system pressure at any time.

FUME THERMOSTAT
It preserves the integrity of the polypropylene pipes and, together with the air pressure switch, constitutes a double safety device for the evacuation system.
OPTIMIZE COMFORT AND SAVINGS
ROMEO TIMER (optional)
The Romeo remote control allows control and setting of the boiler functions directly from the room in which it is installed. Comfort programming is possible on a weekly basis and also includes the 'holiday' function. Romeo is available with wired or wireless connection.
The ROMEO modulating function allows boiler output to be modulated as the set room temperature value is reached. This improves the quality of comfort by eliminating heat peaks with consequent energy savings.
HIGH EFFICIENCY CIRCULATOR
EU regulation 622/2012 establishes that all boilers introduced on the market from 1 August 2015 must be equipped with a high-efficiency circulator (technically speaking, with an EEI, energy efficiency index ≤ 0.23). This decision was taken following the enormous energy consumption of all pumps and circulators installed in different applications in Europe. In practice, a high-efficiency circulator - incorporated in the boiler - reduces up to 30% of the total electricity consumption of the boiler itself.
ONE CENT PER HOUR
If we consider the maximum consumption of the pump mounted on the Divacondens D (0.04 kWh) compared to the previous circulator (0.085 kWh) we will save almost a euro cent for each hour of operation (electricity cost €0.19/kWh). Let's therefore multiply this tiny value by each hour of operation of the circulator in a year (for example 2,500 hours, for a moderately cold climate) ... €21.40 will be the annual saving if we replace an old boiler, and therefore also a old circulator, with Divacondens
SUN EASY FUNCTION
DIVACONDENS D boasts electronics that simplify integration with thermal solar systems, both with natural and forced circulation. The microprocessor controls the temperature of the water coming from the solar circuit through the domestic hot water sensor and switches on the burner only if necessary.
In case of insufficient irradiation and therefore a modest pre-heating of the domestic water, the boiler will contribute with the heat necessary to reach the required set point temperature.

To reach the desired temperature, SUN EASY allows considerable savings even during the coldest seasons, by exploiting and integrating even the smallest solar contribution, otherwise lost by mixing the thermostatic valves.
FUNCTIONS
ANTIFREEZE
In the event that the temperature in the boiler drops to 5°C, the burner ignites automatically and the circulator is activated in order to protect the appliance from damage caused by frost. This function is active with the boiler powered by the gas circuit and under electrical voltage.
POST-CIRCULATION
This function makes it possible to recover all the heat supplied due to thermal inertia of the exchanger and transfer it to the heating system, and consequently to the rooms to be heated. This is a timer function (customizable duration) and is active after the burner goes out in heating mode.
OPERATION IN SLIDING TEMPERATURE
With the installation of the “External probe” kit it is possible to operate the boiler in sliding temperature. This means that without using the system temperature adjustment keys, the boiler will self-regulate according to the variations in external temperatures. All this translates into energy savings while ensuring maximum comfort for the user.
EASY CONTROL
The electronic board of DIVACONDENS D adopts the Opentherm protocol. It allows the integration of other peripheral control units such as, for example, the ROMEO remote timer control. In fact, the Opentherm standard has been specially designed to share the logic and operating algorithms of the boiler with other additional control units. As a digital protocol, it allows total integration between the boiler and the satellite, with full control of the functions from the boiler and similarly from its satellite.
