The BLUEHELIX ALPHA thermal group exchanger (fig. A) compared to the more classic and widespread steel exchanger. This geometry allows the exchanger to operate almost at maximum design efficiency even in conditions of partial clogging, while with the same quantity of deposits and sediments (e.g. due to installation on old systems) the exchanger in fig. B tends to clog much more quickly in the part in contact with the flame due to the reduced fluid passage area, in which a real barrier of deposits * is formed which hinder the heat exchange and reduce the efficiency below the nominal values

THE ENGINE

The tube that makes up the BLUEHELIX ALPHA exchanger is made of stainless steel, a material that allows for the creation of an extremely smooth surface, therefore less susceptible to scaling agents and deposits.

BOILER CONTROL

The BLUEHELIX ALPHA control unit consists of an easy-to-use interface with a backlit display. Using the buttons, you can easily adjust the heating flow temperature, the domestic hot water setpoint, turn the generator on/off or activate the comfort function, monitoring the boiler status. The control panel is completed by a traditional pressure gauge that can check the system pressure at any time.

The electronics controls the flame ionization current to ensure optimal combustion when the air density or gas quality varies. The relationship between the air/gas ratio (λ) and the flame ionization signal is used to control the air/gas ratio itself and therefore combustion. MC2: Multi Combustion Control, the new combustion system with patented Gas-adaptive technology improves the adaptability of use when the conditions of the gas network vary (e.g. fluctuations or reduced pressures).

The MC2 combustion control constantly monitors the quality of combustion and by simply modifying a parameter of the electronic board (operation to be carried out only by qualified personnel) it is possible to operate the boiler on Methane or LPG or Propane Air. It is therefore not necessary to purchase additional accessory kits.

CONNECT

New wireless remote control available as an accessory for managing home comfort also from a smartphone using the connect app (iOS and Android). Maximizes room comfort with modulation of the flow temperature through the Ambient Climate Compensation (CCA) and External Climate Compensation (CCE) functions via external temperature detectable directly from the internet (or from an optional external probe). Improves the average seasonal efficiency in space heating by +4%.

EASY MAINTENANCE

Trouble-free maintenance At the time of the first maintenance, the technician can realize the care with which every detail has been designed to facilitate his work. Thanks to the maximum accessibility of the main components, the BLUEHELIX ALPHA thermal group allows maintenance to be performed with maximum precision and speed. Some examples: - The electrical box of the electronic board can be easily extracted from the chassis leaving free access to the internal parts.

- Easy access to the burner group by removing 4 screws and the quick coupling (clip) of the fan.
- The extra-large passage exchanger is designed to challenge the hardest waters and is easily cleanable thanks to the single-tube, non-collector circuit.
- The domestic water inlet filter can be removed very easily directly from the inside without having to remove the boiler's hydraulic connections.
- The possible dismantling and replacement of the plate exchanger is done simply by removing two Allen bolts accessible from the front

SUN EASY FUNCTION

BLUEHELIX ALPHA has been designed to be easily inserted into systems created with the latest technologies. The SUN EASY system uses electronics that simplify the combination with both natural and forced circulation solar panels. Using a sensor placed on the sanitary circuit, it continuously monitors the temperature of the water preheated by the solar panels, providing for the ignition of the burner only in the event that the latter falls below the level necessary to guarantee optimal comfort for the user.

STOP AND GO FUNCTION

When using sanitary mixer taps, short or very short deliveries for quick rinses cause the boiler ignition procedure to start, which usually ends immediately. The persistence of these "false starts" can, in the long run, compromise the average life of the product. For this reason, BLUEHELIX ALPHA provides an electronics parameter through which it is possible to delay the ignition of the burner (Stop and Go) by activating it only in the face of actual withdrawals of domestic hot water.

EXTERNAL INSTALLATION - ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION

To make the most of the available space, the new BLUEHELIX ALPHA 24 - 28 C boiler can be installed flush with the wall using the special kit; for more critical installations, in completely uncovered places not protected from atmospheric agents, the “painted cabinet” kit is also available. If the temperature in the boiler drops to 5°C, the burner automatically lights up and the circulator is activated in order to protect the appliance from damage caused by frost. This function is active with the boiler powered by the gas circuit and under electrical voltage.

ECO-COMFORT HEALTHCARE FUNCTION

In ECO mode, domestic hot water production occurs according to traditional standards, allowing energy savings during periods of non-use. In COMFORT mode, thanks to the special system for maintaining the temperature of the heat exchanger, the supply of domestic hot water becomes even faster and more comfortable.
