Compress 3000 AWS The air-water heat pump that combines efficiency and flexibility
The split air-water heat pump that heats in winter and cools in summer
The new Compress 3000 AWS heat pump allows you to easily use ambient air as a renewable energy source. It is suitable for heating, producing domestic hot water and cooling your home. It is convincing for its versatility and excellent price/performance ratio. Thanks to the technological improvements made to its inverter, this heat pump is extremely silent and high-performance.
High efficiency all year round
The Compress 3000 AWS heat pump saves a lot of energy during operation because it continuously regulates the power based on the actual comfort requirement: the modulation from 25% to 100% allows the power to be automatically adapted.
of the machine to the actual energy requirement. Compress 3000 AWS is silent because the compressor and the fan have speed regulation. The integrated internal circulator is highly efficient and the latest generation HPC400 electronic thermoregulation always keeps energy consumption to a minimum. The electronics are designed for optimal combination with photovoltaic systems and have an Internet interface to control and manage the heat pump even remotely.
Quick and easy installation
All hydraulic, control and temperature control components are already integrated inside the heat pump. Commissioning is simple, supported by clear text warnings. Furthermore, Compress 3000 AWS is already filled with refrigerant and the piping can be up to 30 meters long.
The main advantages in brief
▶ Single machine for heating, cooling and producing domestic hot water
▶ Optimal power adjustment and high efficiency of the heat pump thanks to the new and improved inverter technology
▶ Multiple application possibilities thanks to 4 different internal unit models: new constructions or modernisations, independent operation or combined with other types of heat generator
▶ Intelligent thermoregulation HPC400 integrated as standard in the internal unit
▶ Minimal installation work and very simple commissioning (the heat pump is already filled with refrigerant)
The operating principle of heat pumps
Compressor : This component of the refrigeration circuit compresses the low-pressure, low-temperature refrigerant gas coming from the evaporator: the gas exiting the compressor is at a high temperature and high pressure. The compressor works thanks to the electrical power supply.
Condenser : in this component the refrigerant fluid releases heat to the water, cooling down and changing from a gaseous to a liquid state.
Expansion valve : this component receives the high pressure cold liquid coming from the condenser and regulates the pressure reduction. In this step the refrigerant fluid cools and passes to a lower pressure, without heat exchange.
Evaporator : in the evaporator the refrigerant fluid (at low pressure and temperature) absorbs almost exclusively latent heat from the external air, passing into a gaseous state while remaining at a practically constant temperature.
Four internal units for different uses
The outdoor unit of the Compress 3000 AWS heat pump can be combined with 4 different types of indoor units. The indoor units have been designed to best meet the needs of new systems and the modernization of existing systems. The heat pump is always an ideal solution for sanitary provision both in combination with an existing domestic hot water boiler or with its integrated boiler. The space occupied is minimal. The outdoor unit requires very little space outside the home and the indoor units can be integrated inside in a truly flexible way.
AWES, AWMS, AWMSS: perfect for new buildings
The different models of internal units are ideal for new buildings that are suitably insulated but also for renovated ones. These three models allow you to create a heating system using only electricity, in fact they are already equipped with an integrative modulating electric resistance. The AWES version is wall-mounted and can be combined with a Bosch boiler of different sizes, with or without the additional coil for solar integration. The AWMS floor-standing model has an integrated 190-liter boiler to produce domestic hot water with high comfort.
To combine the heat pump with a Bosch solar thermal system, the ideal solution is the AWMSS model
floor-standing, with a 184-litre boiler inside with a coil for solar integration. The three models of internal units AWES, AWMS and AWMSS can also be used for cooling: the cooled water is sent to the circuits of the radiant floor heating system or to the fan coils.
