Main features
First
ÿThe ideal condensation for replacement in old systemsÿ with cast iron / lamellar steel radiators
The new Prime condensing range is divided into two models, 24 and 28 kW for heating and instant domestic hot water production. Prime was designed in compliance with the requirements of the Ecodesign and Labeling Directives. The labeling directive (2010/30/EU) requires the labeling of products according to a decreasing energy scale that goes from A++ to G starting from 09/26/2015 and from A+++ to D from 09/26/2019. The label was created to allow the final consumer, by providing real and comparable data, to make informed choices by targeting high-efficiency products.
Characteristics:
Easy to use thanks to the control panel with knobs and backlit LCD displayÿ
Easy installation thanks to the ultra-compact dimensions (700x395x285mm - including knobs) and weight-free (26 kg)ÿ
Campdi modulation 1:5 greater efficiency and silence
High efficiency circulation pumpÿ
Arrangement for combination with the Baxiÿ integrated solar system
Double 80 exhausts as standardÿ
Connection of 50 mm rigid flexible exhaust pipes: solutions for flue refurbishmentÿ
Connect pressurized collective fluesÿ
Boilers working with methane that can be transformed into LPG and propane by means of a specific regulation (conversion kit not necessary)
The advantages of the new Prime
Easy to install
The ultra-compact dimensions 700x395x279 mm and the weight of just 26 kg reduce the installation time.
The new Prime has the same distance between centers of the hydraulic connections of the conventional BAXI boilers to be replaced. The frontal access to the electrical connection also speeds up connection times.
The fixing bracket supplied as standard and the visible hooks facilitate wall mounting
Clapet (non-return valve)
Included in the downstream duct of the gas group fan
ÿConnection of pressurized collective flues
Thanks to the integrated non-return valve (clapet), Prime is designed for connection to pressurized collective flues.
ÿFlexible smoke ducts 50 mm
Possibility of rehabilitating the flue pipes with a 50 mm discharge hose (up to 40m of discharge).
Less energy consumption
Thanks to the condensing technology, the high efficiency pump and the series of modulating room thermostats available as an accessory.
The new regulation 7129-3:2015 prescribes the possibility of creating collective flues in positive pressure only for type C condensing appliances. It is possible to connect to a collective flue in positive pressure only appliances declared suitable by the manufacturer for this application and equipped with non-return device (clapet), designed to prevent the combustion products from flowing through devices connected and temporarily switched off; the smoke non-return valve is an integral part of the appliance
Flexibility in replacement
Easy replacement of old standard boilers, thanks to the central flue and separable flue supplied as standard
The 60/100 axial exhaust is available as an accessory and can be combined with a 90ø diameter 60/100 curved tube extension (adjustable by 360ø).
To facilitate replacement in installations where spaces are limited (flue gas outlet at the rear of the boiler), the new accessory is available with a lowered coaxial bend 90ø.
The lower closure kit allows the boiler to adapt to any environment, reducing the visual impact by fitting into all replacement installation contexts. To facilitate replacement in installations where space is limited (flue gas outlets at the rear of the boiler), the new 90ø coaxial lowered bend accessory is available
New combustion group
The new Prime combines the performance of the stainless steel exchanger with the advantages of a new generation burner integrated with an innovative cold closing door.
The new cylinder burner ensures greater thermal-acoustic comfort, and reduced NOx and CO emissions thanks to the greater flame stability. The new cold door reduces losses by 75% with a surface temperature below 20°C, guaranteeing significant savings in stand-by and during operation, speeding up maintenance, as there is no need to wait for it to cool down.
All ready for Energy Labeling
What is it about
From 26 September 2015 the directives of the European Commission concerning eco-design and energy labeling will apply.
These two directives aim to achieve savings in one of the most polluting and most energy intensive sectors: construction
For placing on the European market, the directive on ÿeco-designÿ(ErP notcome®ÿEnergy Related Productsÿ¯) imposes a minimum energy efficiency for heating devices and hot water production in domestic premises. The directive applies to:
generators with a capacity of less than 400 kW
water heaters with a capacity of less than 400 kW,
kettles with a capacity of less than 2000 litres
As in the household appliances sector, the energy labelingÿof products, with a capacity of less than 70 kW, will give consumers simple, recognizable information which allows them to make comparisonsÿon the performance and energy consumption of the product they wish to purchase.
The energy label will be included in all boilers, water heaters and storage tanks placed on the market from 26 September 2015.
It's about me tooÿ
YES, it affects everyone: professionals and end users
The information indicated on the energy labelÿwill allow professionals to recommend the right productÿÿindividuals to benefit from the information available.
The user will be able to easily compare the performance of the products.
From 26 September 2015, the label will be present on the following products: boilers, electric water heaters, thermodynamic water heaters, solar water heaters, storage tanks, heat pumps, solar systems and control systems.
Supplier's responsibility
The company that supplies the product on the market is required to equip its system devices with the following documentation:
product energy label;ÿ
product data sheet;ÿ
system energy label in addition to that of the product, both if it sells a system that includes the product in question, and if this, in the future, can be sold combined with other additional devices;ÿ
technical data sheet of the system with the parts relating to the products and the system already completed.
Responsibilities of Resellersÿ
First of all, it should be clarified that the reseller can be anyone who sells, rents, offers for rent/sale and exhibits a device/system to the public. Therefore, even professionals such as plumbers, installers, designers can fall into this category. All bound to ensure that:
all appliances and/systems having their respective labels and making sure they are clearly visible;ÿ
all appliances and/systems must always be accompanied by the obligatory technical data sheets;ÿ
every type of advertising material, technical promotional material which shows energy data and price indications, contains an indication of the energy efficiency class.
The new ErP regulations
ENERGY LABELLING:
Appliances for space heating and the production of hot water will have to be equipped with the new energy label which will report the energy class and the main performance data. The energy class must also be mentioned in the technical, commercial and advertising documentation of the appliances.
ECODESIGN (ErP):
The new ErP regulations impose the minimum energy efficiency that space heating and hot water production appliances must achieve in order to obtain the CE mark and be marketed in Europe. These new limits will exclude obsolete technologies from the market, significantly raising the level of energy efficiency of products.
PRODUCT LABEL
There are different labels depending on the type of appliance. Those with efficiency classes A, A+ and A++ certify products with the highest performance. Furthermore, two different classifications are foreseen for domestic heating and for hot water production services, so much so that mixed products must show both classifications. In addition to the energy class, the labels contain other information, so that the end customer can make his choice in the most aware way possible.
SYSTEM LABEL
In addition to the product label, the system label is also providedÿin cases where a series of appliances combined with each other is offered. This label must also be included in the technical and commercial documentation of the system. Those proposing such systems will have to calculate the performance using a predefined calculation algorithm and display the label so as to inform the end user in the best possible way.
