It is distributed in rolls. The diameter of the copper tube, as required by the EN 12735-1 standard, is expressed in inches. The insulating sheath is produced in full compliance with the European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 which requires the use of expanded insulating sheaths without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases harmful to health and the environment. The thickness of the sheath is also sized in such a way as to satisfy the multiple needs of this application sector. In consideration of the particular specificity of the field of use, special attention is paid to the external protective polyethylene film aimed at preventing the formation of condensation on the external wall of the product. SMISOL®Clim Platinum also stands out for its particularly low eccentricity values, a very important feature for the flaring operation. Internal Surface The internal surface of the copper tube is shiny, clean and dry , fundamental characteristics of a product normally available on the market for industrial use. This peculiarity allows to obtain an integrated system with the terminal elements of the system. The particular internal cleanliness of SMISOL®Clim Platinum is safeguarded by closing the ends of each roll with caps, directly during the production phase. The insulating sheath is produced in full compliance with European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 which requires the use of expanded insulating sheaths without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases harmful to health and the environment and has a fire behavior of class BLs1d0 (EN 13501-1) and class 1 (DM 26/06/84). The external polyethylene film contains a darker pigment than the traditional white in order to counteract the crystallization process of the PE. Furthermore, the normal anti-UV additives have an antagonistic effect on the flame retardant necessary for the product. In order to avoid this inconvenience, the SMISOL®Clim Platinum sheath contains an ecological halogen-free flame retardant that does not counteract the anti-UV action. Tests carried out according to the ASTM G-155 standard (accelerated aging) demonstrate that SMISOL®Clim Platinum is suitable for areas with strong annual solar radiation . At the end of the exposure test, the sample did not show any symptoms of degradation. Accelerated Aging Test The test involves a duration of 4,000 hours of exposure in a weatherometer with a CI65 Xenon lamp, which is equivalent in Kly to approximately 3 years of continuous exposure in Northern Italy or 2 years in Southern Italy. Thanks to the particularity of the coating, co-extruded continuously on the copper pipe, and in the presence of spacers wound in a helical direction with respect to the axis of the pipe, it is particularly suitable for the transport of liquid and gaseous fuels. Spacers ensure that the sheath has an internal diameter that is 10 mm larger than the external diameter of the pipe. This geometric peculiarity allows the pipe to be used for crossing walls and floors without adding an additional metal sheath in full compliance with UNI 7129-1 which states in point 4.4.1.5: "When crossing perimeter and external walls, bricks blocks, perforated bricks and prefabricated panels, the gas supply pipe must not have joints, with the exception of the inlet and outlet joints and must be protected with a gas-tight through sheath. The sheath can be indifferently metal or polymeric material, the sheath must have an internal diameter greater than 10 mm compared to the external diameter of the pipe. It is distributed in rolls, having the dimensions of the pipe diameter in millimeters. The insulating sheath is produced in full compliance with the European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 which imposes the use of expanded insulating sheaths without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases harmful to health and the environment. The thickness of the sheath is also sized in such a way as to satisfy the multiple needs of this application sector. In consideration of the particular specificity of the field of use, special attention is paid to the external protective film in polyethylene aimed at preventing the formation of condensation on the external wall of the product. Inner surface The internal surface of the copper tube is shiny, clean and dry , fundamental characteristics of a product normally available on the market for industrial use.
