The ductable models offer a double installation and air inlet method: rear or bottom. If the distance between the unit and the wall is limited, then you can choose the bottom air inlet by removing the bottom casing of the unit. The noise level produced by a bottom air inlet can increase up to 5dB compared to using a rear air inlet. We therefore recommend opting for the latter solution
