DESIGN WALL is the new range of Riello wall-mounted fan coils for residential and small commercial applications. Thanks to the DC-Brushless motor, DESIGN WALL fan coils are able to work with a high modulation of the air flow, from 0 up to 100%, to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the room and guarantee maximum silence during operation. DESIGN WALL fan coils are characterized by an extremely slim aesthetic, with a depth of only 128 mm, for perfect integration within the premises. The air distribution takes place via motorized flaps, obtaining a uniform diffusion throughout the room. Available in two versions: with remote control included and TOUCH display on the machine or for combination with the TOP wall-mounted control panel accessory (Design Wall 11÷23P). All the functions of the fan coil are guaranteed. The range is available in 3 cooling power sizes from 1070 W up to 2310 W and in heating from 1270 W up to 2600 W, in the two versions with supplied remote control or in combination with the TOP wall-mounted control panel.

At the same time, a stepless control of the feed water temperature prevents annoying cold drafts in the winter
The FCX ACT fan coil concentrates high technological and functional characteristics that make it the ideal means of air conditioning for any environment. The supply of conditioned air is immediate and distributed throughout the room; FCX ACT generates heat if inserted in a heating system with boiler or heat pump but can also be used in the summer months as an air conditioner if the heating system is equipped with a water chiller.

Characterized by a maximum depth of 200 mm and in the version with casing by a particularly attractive aesthetic line, they are suitable for heating applications and residential air conditioning. Available in 5 sizes with cooling capacities from 1.50 to 5.60 kW and air flow rates from 255 to 1190 m3 /h. In the standard version they are offered with a single 3-row coil which can be combined as an accessory, in the case of 4-pipe systems, with an additional 1-row coil. THERMAL EXCHANGE COIL 3-row coil in copper tube and aluminum fins blocked by mechanical expansion of the tubes. The manifolds in the upper part of the battery are equipped with air vents, while in the lower part they have a water drain valve*. * The default hydraulic connection for the coil is on the LEFT. However, it is possible to turn the coil and change it to the RIGHT (see Installation Manual).
CONDENSATE COLLECTION TRAY optional Made of thermoplastic material to avoid corrosion phenomena, it allows the machine to be installed in both vertical and horizontal positions. In particular, in horizontal installation, its shape makes it possible to collect the drops of condensation that form on the collectors during cold operation. The drain hole is obtained directly from the condensate collection tray and allows it to be eliminated during cold operation. FAN MOTOR (for version I) The electric motor is of the DC brushless type with high efficiency continuous speed regulation and is directly coupled to the fans and cushioned by elastic supports.
AIR FILTER Easily removable and regenerable by simply washing with water.
COVER (VM only) Partly made of steel sheet painted with epoxy powders to guarantee high resistance to corrosion and partly in anti-UV thermoplastic material to guarantee resistance to ultraviolet rays. The grilles for air diffusion and the door for accessing the control panel are inserted in the upper part, both in anti-UV thermoplastic material.
HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS The connections, positioned on the left side, are of the ¾” gas female type. It is possible to rotate the coil which is supplied standard with left side connections, moving the hydraulic connections to the right side.
These new units are characterized by an elegant aesthetic line and by the multiple possibilities of insertion in different types of system. The mantellati models lend themselves to wall or niche solutions (raised or resting on feet), or suspended horizontally from the ceiling. The dismantled models are particularly suitable for concealed built-in solutions or inside false ceilings.

The new ART-U is born from the great experience of Galletti in the development and design of fan coils and as confirmation of its continuous search for innovation, the result of a perfect combination between performance and design. The objective achieved by this project is absolutely ambitious: a new and unique product, not yet present on the market, which on the one hand is capable of responding to increasingly stringent requests in terms of energy efficiency, on the other meeting for the first turn the recent furniture and interior design trends.
With the new ART-U, Galletti completely hits this target, presenting a new concept of hydronic unit on the market, a product that is characterized by its enviable technical performance and at the same time represents a real stylistic shift in a sector accustomed for too long to products that are very similar to each other
ART-U, with its depth that in some points is just 10 cm, and thanks to its unique lines, was conceived to be an absolutely transversal product, which adapts perfectly both to rigorous and essential environments, and to more warm and sophisticated. Thanks also to the possibility of customizing the front panel, ART-U satisfies the request for ever greater customization of the spaces to be furnished
The achievement of very high aesthetic standards has not weakened the usual constructive virtuosity of Galletti products: the search for innovation has in fact also concentrated on the components and on the use of new materials. With ART-U the state of the art has been redefined also in terms of technical performance, thanks to the use of computational fluid dynamics simulations for the optimization of the heat exchange inside the terminal combined with the use of permanent magnet electric motors
Designer furniture
The elegant front panel is made up of two aluminum sheets with a polyethylene core and optional polyester-based surface painting. It is a light but very resistant material, created for facade cladding in the building sector. The side panels are in UV stabilized ABS to keep the color unchanged over time. The polyethylene core acts as a flexible filling and thermal insulator while the aluminum gives structurality and aesthetics
Conveyors
In high density polystyrene. They are designed to optimize the aeraulic flow inside the hydronic terminal allowing an optimal distribution of the air flow in the coil and low noise at any operating regime
Upper grille
Consisting of adjustable fins in anodized aluminum, available in the version for on-board or wall-mounted control. The ABS combs, supporting the grids, prevent them from bending, always guaranteeing the user's safety
Electric motor
Permanent magnet BLDC motor with inverter integrated in the fan unit. The IP54 degree of protection is guaranteed, therefore the access of dust to the inside is prevented and resistance to water splashes is guaranteed
Tangential fan
Tangential fan statically and dynamically balanced to reduce operating noise. The plastic material used for the blades guarantees, compared to metal fans, a reduction of vibrations and absence of bending along the axis of rotation. The blades are interspersed with intermediate reinforcement disks in order to increase their strength
Heat exchange coils
High efficiency turbulent in copper tube and aluminum fins, it is equipped with brass manifolds and vent valve. The hydrophilic treatment is applied as standard on the fins, to increase their effectiveness in cooling and at the same time greater resistance to aggressive atmospheres. The hydraulic connections are reversible during installation. On request, it is possible to mount an additional coil for 4-pipe systems

Computational fluid dynamics simulations
Model
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a method that uses numerical analysis to solve fluid dynamics problems using computers. For the ART-U project, a computational domain discretized by means of a polyhedral computational grid (mesh) consisting of 12 million cells was considered. The mesh has a refinement extended to the entire rotor area to best reproduce the vortices that are created in this area
Air motion field
During the initial development phase of the ART-U project, the calculation showed recirculation of the fluid downstream of the rotor in different areas, with consequent pressure drops
Flow lines
The flow lines show how the trajectory of the fluid streams inside the unit does not have a uniform distribution. For this reason, the research also focused on the improvement of air distribution along the longitudinal axis of the fan, minimizing wall effects. The results of these simulations have allowed an optimization of the geometry of the internal conveyor and of the orientation of the finned pack coil

The units of the OMNIA UL (Universal Line) series are fan coil units suitable for air conditioning. Available in various configurations depending on the installation position, with the possibility of being ducted, they are characterized by multi-speed motors. They have fans in ABS material with an impeller equipped with airfoil fins and an inspectable cochlea. This feature gives the machine a clear reduction in the level of noise emitted, as well as a reduction in the electrical absorption of the motor, compared to traditional fans with a metal structure. The UL unit, in the PC version, is equipped as standard with the PLASMACLUSTER ionizing filter, while the RADIANT version is equipped with a radiant plate with on/off motor or inverter. The units can be equipped with multiple accessories and can be integrated into the VMF - Aermec centralized hydronic management system.

Cleaning the fan: With Omnia fan coils you can easily clean the fan blades. Now, in fact, it is possible to open the cochlea of the fan (the casing that encloses the blades) and proceed with their periodic cleaning. Cleaning the condensate tray: Thanks to a new fixing system for the condensate collection tray, now, with Omnia fan coils, it can be cleaned easily. This important solution avoids, in the long term, the formation of bacteria, germs and molds in the basin itself, due to the condensation of the humidity present in the air Electrostatically precharged filter: Omnia fan coils are equipped, as standard, with electrostatically precharged air filters. These filters, thanks to their particular construction, absorb and retain suspended dust: the ideal system to ensure healthy air for the whole family.
