The Vulcano thermo-fireplace is a modern, efficient, functional, aesthetically pleasing product, with a management suited to today's needs and capable of combining these factors with the history and tradition of a century-old product such as the fireplace.

Structure

The structure is made of thick steel. The walls are smooth and free from mechanisms. The secondary exchangers are made of copper and are placed in a bain-marie in the cavities of the primary. The painting is made with epoxy powders suitable for high temperatures.

Plant engineering

The plant capabilities are completely similar to fossil fuel boilers: it can power any type of heating system, with any type of piping it is made with, with any type of circuit: open, closed or mixed, it can work alone or in combination with other boilers.

Heating

Thermal performance is also similar to fossil fuel boilers. In fact, it can properly heat homes up to 320 m2, in any climate zone and whatever energy class they belong to.

Hot water

The hot water supply is superior to the best instantaneous boilers and its flow is constant. In addition, each model has an internal reserve proportionate to its power that allows it to guarantee the supply for several hours even with the fire off.

Consumption

The new models have an even greater efficiency that allows them to consume approximately a third of gas boilers and less than half of pellet boilers for the same amount of heat supplied.

Models

Four models are produced, suitable for heating surfaces from 50 to 320 m2. The choice must be made according to the indications given in the table below.



Installation

The installation of Vulcano thermo-fireplaces is simple, fast, legal and within the reach of all installers. This is due to their ability to directly perform all the functions that may be necessary: ​​heating, hot water, interface with other boilers, etc.

Once you have purchased the model that best suits your needs, you can connect it directly: without boilers, exchangers and various kits. To give you a better idea, we report some drawings regarding the most common installations of the three series. The figures with boilers refer to when they already exist or are needed for other generators or for specific needs.

Usage


The use of the Vulcano thermo-fireplace is very simple: even simpler than the classic fireplace. In fact, once loaded it does not need anything else: there is no need to remove the wood, there is no need to operate levers or switches, there is no need to modify the combustion air, etc. In practice you can even leave the house as you would with a classic fireplace, taking the same care not to leave the door open or flammable materials in the immediate vicinity.

It is advisable to keep the door closed also to have a greater performance but nothing prevents you from keeping it open for cooking food or using the thermo fireplace as a barbecue without any risk of smoke or bad smells in the house. Charges can be made of any size without fear of boiling or other anomalies: the autonomy is based on the charge.

The ash can be removed once a week as this new series has an even larger compartment and produces even less. The glass can be cleaned from once a day to once a week depending on the humidity of the wood and the draft of the flue. The hydrothermal aspect is managed automatically directly by the control unit, therefore there is no need to operate switches and stop keys and it is not necessary to make adjustments or manual interventions of any kind.

From a safety perspective, once the thermo-fireplace has been installed according to the instructions in the instruction manual, no dangerous situations can arise under any conditions (except those of a normal fireplace).
