Foma Special Gas Coated Copper Pipes for Gas Plumbing
This special pre-sheathed copper pipe, created for the distribution of liquid and gaseous fuels, is particularly suitable for insertion into masonry structures, where it is necessary to use sheaths of plastic material.
The advantage of using this product is made evident by the type of structure with which this sheath is made, since it is high-density closed-cell expanded polyethylene with seven spacers, which, during the production phase, are given a twist so as to make them a spiral; this allows the pipe to be bent without the sheath channels being interrupted, thus facilitating the evacuation of any leaks.
The copper pipe contained is produced according to the customer's requests, according to various standardized regulations or, if required, according to the European standard CE EN 1057 and the dimensional range complies with the provisions of UNI CIG 7129, which in point 3.3.1.4 prescribes , for the crossing of solid walls, perforated and prefabricated panels, that the pipe is protected, without joints and welds, with a through sheath walled up with mortar and cement.
