Dual fuel

For Helios the fuel consists of material produced and existing within an ecological system, therefore renewable and non-polluting (corn, sunflower seeds, wood, pellets, etc.).

In Helios Helios products it is possible to use different granular fuels (corn, pellets, peanuts, various seeds, etc.). Combustion is completely automatic, in fact it is possible to adjust the ignition and extinguishing of the flame. • peanut

The peanut derives from the transformation of the waste (pomace) produced by the mill.
Its calorific value is comparable to that of pellets, equal to approximately 4800 kcal/kg. Thanks to the negligible purchase cost, there are considerable energy savings, with margins of 80% in terms of savings for usage costs compared to traditional fossil fuels.

• PELLETS

It is a fuel obtained from wood processing residues, it is easy to transport (it is packaged in 15 kg bags) and to store and does not damage natural resources.
In Helios thermo-stoves it is possible to use pellets of all qualities and dimensions and guarantees continuous operating autonomy, reliability, safety and efficiency. Good wood pellets have minimal residual moisture, which results in a high calorific value and low emission value. To ensure trouble-free combustion, the pellets must be stored in a dry place

Insulation

Our products (with the exception of the Ecoflame wood-burning fireplaces) are insulated to make the most of the heat produced by combustion and concentrate it as much as possible on the water circulating in the system. • Can I also heat domestic water using a stove or boiler?
  
  Certain. Just specify the request when ordering and the machine will arrive at your home already complete with the hydraulic circuit for heating the domestic hot water. Therefore, the machine already complete with expansion vessel, circulator and DHW kit only needs to be connected to the system and is immediately ready for use.

• Is it necessary to do some particular operation to switch from one fuel to another?
  
  Switching from one fuel to another is immediate. No brazier needs to be replaced, just add or remove the two side plates.

• How often should I clean the stove?
  
  It is recommended to clean the machine twice a week (ash drawer and combustion chamber). Cleanliness clearly depends on the quality of the fuel used.

• Are the Double and the Internya similar machines?
  
  The body is the same, as are the technical characteristics. The Internya is more functional, being able to be positioned in a technical room. In addition, for the latter it is also possible to provide an additional tank which doubles its capacity.
