The field of action of this European Directive is extremely broad as up to now it has involved products such as light bulbs, air conditioners, washing machines, fans, etc. Following the publication in September 2013 of a series of implementing regulations, starting from 26 September 2015 it will also apply to heating products and the production of domestic hot water. Emissions always under control The new Family is equipped with the intelligent ACC combustion control system, which guarantees that the process always takes place in an optimal manner in any condition, thanks to the modulating gas valve and the ionization electrode. Thanks to the ACC, the Family is able to automatically adapt to the fuel (methane or LPG) without resorting to specific codes or accessory conversion kits. Family also reacts to the variation of the fuel title and to the pressure drops on the flue gas side. The ACC system detects the excess air value and intervenes by modulating the air/gas mixture to always keep it within the optimal parameters. The ACC system also simplifies installation. In the ignition phase, it does not require calibration and it is sufficient to select the type of combustible gas used by the boiler via the interface, if different from the default one (methane). Since the system keeps the value of the CO2 produced constant, even the smoke control during the ignition phase is no longer necessary for the correct functioning of the product. Controlling combustion also means guaranteeing constant emissions, which are always well below the limits set by the law. In fact, if the process takes place in an optimal manner, the gases produced will also have the best theoretical composition with respect to the other conditions. Control panel and functions Even clearer, more intuitive and easier to use, it integrates elegantly into the aesthetics of the machine. The large backlit display, the raised keys and the interface enriched with explanatory texts and icons help the user and the installer in navigation. Through the panel it is possible to view the operating status, carry out the programming and access the regulation of the boiler and system. The Family display is equipped with the new "Color Bar" which informs the user at a glance on the operating status of the boiler. In the event of anomalies, it is possible to immediately understand if a problem is critical and whether to request the intervention of technical assistance. GREEN Regular operation. The system is satisfying domestic hot water/heating requests or carrying out other automatic operations. A scrolling text at the bottom describes the function active at that moment. RED Presence of blocking anomalies that require an intervention by the Technical Assistance. An error triangle on the display gives access to the details of the anomaly. RiCloud - Comfort at your fingertips The RiCLOUD intelligent remote control allows you to manage the comfort of your home in a simple and intuitive way, even when you are away from home. Through the dedicated app it is in fact possible to check the status of the heating system, but also to program the boiler's switching on and off, temperature and operating times directly from your smartphone or tablet. It is possible to manage up to 8 different zones, each controlled by its own RiCLOUD. RiCLOUD can also be installed in total wireless mode using a radio frequency receiver, available as an accessory, thus avoiding any electrical or masonry intervention.
