The range of generators is equipped with the tested primary heat exchanger for heating and domestic hot water in very thick stainless steel integrated in a single component, INOX DUAL . Designed and built according to the new ErP directives for eco-compatible design and labelling. BLUEHELIX PRO RRT achieves one of the highest energy efficiency in its category both in space heating, ηs 94% (Class A ErP, scale from G to A++), and in domestic water heating, ηwh 93% . Furthermore, when combined with the external probe and the Romeo remote timer control or the new Connect control, it reaches system energy class A+ (scale from G to A+++).

The New Design for Comfort

The particularly careful design of BLUEHELIX PRO RRT has made it possible to achieve significant values ​​in terms of silence and acoustic comfort , so much so that it could almost be difficult to distinguish the background noise of a home from the noise produced by the boiler during normal operation. Ferroli has oriented the design of the combustion cell and the BLUEHELIX PRO RRT heat exchanger in order to maximize the functional advantages and the constructive sturdiness , as well as the simplicity of maintenance . The single-pipe design, both in the DHW and heating circuits, ensures that any air bubbles in the system do not get trapped in the exchanger, and makes it as easy as possible to clean it with chemical washing, unlike spiral exchangers with double parallel circuit (more common) in which if only one of the circuits is clogged, chemical washing is much more laborious

The Combustion Cell Engine

The tube that makes up the BLUEHELIX PRO RRT exchanger is made of stainless steel , a material that allows for the creation of an extremely smooth surface , therefore less susceptible to encrusting agents and deposits.

Full Condensation

The exchanger of the THERMOBALANCE™ DUAL thermal unit of Bluehelix PRO RRT is made using a concentric spiral without joints or welds. An additional pipe for the preparation of domestic hot water is inserted inside the main spiral, which serves the heating system. The latter is not bound to the main coil but remains immersed in the primary system fluid. The integration in a single block, both of the domestic hot water exchanger and of the primary one, reduces the average operating temperatures especially during the production of domestic hot water thus favoring the phenomenon of condensation. Therefore, unlike most of the products in its category, BLUEHELIX PRO RRT is able to condense even during the production of domestic hot water, reaching energy efficiencies among the highest not only in room heating (ηs 94%) but also in domestic water heating (ηwh 93%). The geometry of the exchanger, particularly generous in the useful passage sections both on the heating circuit and on the domestic hot water circuit, allows the exchanger of the THERMOBALANCE™ DUAL heating unit to operate almost at maximum design efficiency even in conditions of possible partial blockage. The serpentine conformation contrasts the deposit of impurities not only due to the regularity of the path crossed by the water, but also due to the "centrifugal" effect (SELF CLEANING) imprinted on the water itself on the walls of the serpentine. Furthermore, the absence of parallel circuits , both on the heating and DHW side, makes any chemical washing operations of the exchanger and the elimination of any air present in the system circuit extremely easy.

In the event that the temperature in the boiler drops to 5°C, the burner automatically lights up and the circulator is activated in order to protect the appliance from damage caused by frost . This function is active with the boiler powered by the gas circuit and under electrical voltage
