Description
How to use
The equipment works on the principle of ion exchange by means of synthetic food resins
sodium cyclohexane.
These resins have the property of absorbing the excessive quantity of calcium and magnesium salts present in the water.
The equipment must be used on waters compliant with Legislative Decree 31/2001.
For use on non-compliant waters, consult our specialized consultants.
The regeneration of the resins is completely automatic.
During regeneration, the softener automatically enters By-pass, thus ensuring the supply of water to the user.
Technical features:
The softener is made up of 3 main elements (2-body softener)
1) CYLINDER: Cylindrical fiberglass column containing resins.
2) VALVE: Automatic component that controls the following progressive work cycles.
- Production of softened water (hardness level adjustable according to need);
- Backwashing;
- Slow rinsing of resins;
- I replenish water in the salt vat.
All the work phases described are carried out at each regeneration (which can take place, depending on the model of
water softener, by time or by water volume).
3) TINO: Polyethylene container for preparing the brine.
NB IN THE CASE OF A CABIN WATER SOFTENER (SPACE-SAVING) THE TAN IS REPLACED BY A CABIN WITH
LID CONTAINING CYLINDER, VALVE AND SPACE REQUIRED FOR INSERTING SALT AND
PREPARATION OF BRINE.
The materials constituting the equipment comply with the provisions set out in the ministerial decree of 6 April 2004,
n. 174. Together with those used by Euroacque, installation and maintenance must also be carried out
using compliant material.
Installation
Plumbing systems made for the installation of a water softener must be equipped with:
non-return valve system capable of ensuring that treated water does not return to the network of a manual or manual system
automatic, bypass and shut-off valves that allow the supply of untreated water,
excluding the one treated.
These systems are necessary in the event of any faults present on the softener so as not to interrupt the supply.
of sanitary water.
The following points are highlighted:
1. The equipment must be installed in hygienically suitable environments and, where relevant, in compliance with the
provisions set forth in the decree of the Minister for Economic Development dated 22 January 2008, n.37, including those relating to
testing and maintenance.
2. The installation of the equipment in line with the drinking water distribution system must be carried out
with bypass valves to ensure that the user can exclude the use of the equipment without this
result in interruption of the drinking water supply service.
