Thanks to the particularity of the coating, co-extruded continuously on the copper pipe, and in the presence of spacers wound in a helical direction with respect to the axis of the pipe, it is particularly suitable for the transport of liquid and gaseous fuels. Spacers ensure that the sheath has an internal diameter that is 10 mm larger than the external diameter of the pipe. This geometric peculiarity allows the pipe to be used for crossing walls and floors without adding an additional metal sheath in full compliance with UNI 7129-1 which states in point 4.4.1.5: "When crossing perimeter and external walls, bricks blocks, perforated bricks and prefabricated panels, the gas supply pipe must not have joints, with the exception of the inlet and outlet joints and must be protected with a gas-tight through sheath. The sheath can be indifferently metal or polymeric material, the sheath must have an internal diameter greater than 10 mm compared to the external diameter of the pipe.
