The insulating sheath is also externally protected by a special polyethylene film. Insulated according to Law 10/91 and relative implementation decree (DPR412/93), for the distribution of the heat transfer fluid inside heated rooms . The insulating sheath is produced in full compliance with the European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 which imposes the use of expanded insulating sheaths without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases harmful to health and the environment. The production process ensures the absolute adherence of the insulating sheath to the external wall of the copper pipe, so as to avoid the formation of cavities which have a negative effect on the thermal insulation capacity. The production process of the pipe, coated directly in line, guarantees the absolute malleability of the product and ease of installation. Furthermore, to protect the final consumer, in compliance with EU Regulation 305/2011 for construction products (CPR), the copper pipes manufactured by SCT according to EN1057 are marked with the CE mark . A further guarantee of compliance with current legislation is given by obtaining the UNI-IGQ quality mark Internal Protection It has proven bacteriostatic properties , which make it the ideal material for water-sanitary networks, in order to prevent bacterial proliferation such as Legionellosis. SMISOL® One complies with DM174/04 (GU 166 of 17/07/04) which defines the conditions which materials in contact with drinking water must meet. During production, it is subjected to a patented passivation and stabilization treatment of the internal wall which makes it absolutely reliable in compliance with the potability parameters established by the European legislation on transported potable water (European Directive 98/83 and DL 31/ 01). It has a carbon residue C <0.06 mg/dm2, much lower than that required by the EN 1057 standard, which establishes a carbon content C ≤0.20 mg/dm2 External Protection The insulating sheath is in closed-cell expanded PE in compliance with EEC/EU Reg. 2037/2000 (without the use of CFC and HCFC) with an external green polyethylene film and corrugated surface. The cladding has class BL-s1-d0 fire behavior according to EN 13501-1 Coating Features Thermal conductivity : λ ≤0.040 W/m°C.
