Technical features Dimensions External Diameter: 12 mm Thickness : 1mm External diameter of the tube: 24 mm Roll length : 50m Burst Pressure: 37.40 MPa Working Pressure : 9.35 MPa Water Content: 0.079 l/m SMISOL® Tekgas Practical and Safe SMISOL® Tekgas is the copper pipe produced according to the EN 1057 standard, coated during production with a special low-density closed-cell structure polyethylene sheath, manufactured in the sizes required by UNI 7129. Thanks to the particularity of the coating, co-extruded continuously on the copper pipe, and in the presence of spacers wound in a helical direction with respect to the axis of the pipe, it is particularly suitable for the transport of liquid and gaseous fuels. Spacers ensure that the sheath has an internal diameter that is 10 mm larger than the external diameter of the pipe. This geometric peculiarity allows the pipe to be used for crossing walls and floors without adding an additional metal sheath in full compliance with UNI 7129-1 which states in point 4.4.1.5: "When crossing perimeter and external walls, bricks blocks, perforated bricks and prefabricated panels, the gas supply pipe must not have joints, with the exception of the inlet and outlet joints and must be protected with a gas-tight through sheath. The sheath can be indifferently metal or polymeric material, the sheath must have an internal diameter greater than 10 mm compared to the external diameter of the pipe. This pipe can be laid concealed even in critical situations where the walls contain cavities (for example perforated bricks) this is always possible thanks to the polymeric sheath that continuously wraps the copper pipe, during installation it is sufficient to drown SMISOL® Tekgas in 15 mm of cement mortar to comply with the provisions of UNI 7129-1 point 4.5.5.5 and point 4.5.5.6. The helical shape of the spacers ensures that the interspace between the pipe and the sheath remains constant even in the 90° bends, avoiding crushing, in this way in the event of a leak, the danger of the formation of gas pockets is avoided. The in-line coating process ensures high malleability, superior to similar products on the market. In order to preserve this exclusive feature, the rolls of SMISOL®Tekgas have a very large winding diameter which, with the characteristics already described, make them a practical and particularly professional product at the same time. Furthermore, to protect the final consumer, in compliance with EU Regulation 305/2011 for construction products (CPR) , the copper pipes manufactured by SCT according to EN1057 are marked with the CE mark . A further guarantee of compliance with current legislation is given by obtaining the UNI-IGQ quality mark Internal Protection During production, it is subjected to a patented treatment of passivation and stabilization of the internal wall . SMISOL®Tekgas copper pipe has a carbon residue C < 0.06 mg/dm2, much lower than that required by the EN 1057 standard, which establishes a carbon content C ≤ 0.20 mg/dm2 External Protection The low-density closed-cell polyethylene coating protects the pipe from attacks exerted from the outside by building materials (e.g. quick-setting cement) and from damage caused by knocks during transport to the construction site. It complies with the reg. CEE/UE 2037/2000 and has a fire behavior of class BLs1d0 (EN 13501-1) and class 1 (DM 26/06/84) Folding With reference to the bending methods using a special tube bender, it should be noted that the matrices and counter matrices to be used can differ significantly according to the brand and model used.
