The tried and tested Ferroli technology in the field of traditional wall mounted boilers has been enriched by increasing the performance of the product in the simplest way, with the use of a robust recuperator which preheats the primary circuit using the residual heat of the exhaust fumes and a new cooled burner with low NOx emissions. Using the buttons, it is possible to easily adjust the heating flow temperature, the domestic hot water setpoint, switch the generator on/off or activate the comfort function, monitoring the status of the boiler. The control panel is completed by a traditional pressure gauge which can check the system pressure at any time. The performances Energy classification DHW load profile (maximum flow rate at the corresponding efficiency declared in DHW) Efficiency in the production of domestic hot water FOR COMBINED BOILERS The "climate-energy 20/20/20" package includes ambitious targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, of energy consumption as well as the increase in the use of renewable energies, corresponding to a percentage of 20% to be reached by 2020. In this context, the European regulation ErP (Energy Related Products) introduces an energy classification also for water generators hot water for space heating and domestic hot water purposes. This classification translates into an energy label which must necessarily accompany all the products affected by the Regulation, introduced on the market from 26 September 2015. The labeling constitutes an easy guide for the consumer, who can choose - through standardized and objective indications - the product more efficient. In this way, the choice will be the most sparing in terms of consumption for the benefit of the user, but also the most virtuous for energy balances and consequently, for the environment. The most significant parameters indicated on the label are the seasonal efficiency index in heating and efficiency in the eventual production of domestic hot water, according to a scale which, in the case of the single boiler product, ranges from A to G*. Furthermore, for combined boilers, a load profile is indicated corresponding to the DHW flow rate of the appliance measured in a series of typical samplings, guaranteeing at least the declared DHW efficiency. This index is identified with a letter/”size” (S, M …XXL). Solar circuit integration DIVACONDENS D PLUS boasts electronics that simplify integration with thermal solar systems, both with natural and forced circulation. The microprocessor controls the temperature of the water coming from the solar circuit through the domestic hot water sensor and switches on the burner only if necessary. To reach the desired temperature, SUN EASY allows considerable savings even during the coldest seasons, exploiting and integrating even the smallest solar contribution, otherwise lost. In case of insufficient irradiation and therefore a modest pre-heating of the domestic water, the boiler will contribute with the heat necessary to reach the required set point temperature. If the sun and the solar system fulfill their "duty" no integration by the boiler will be necessary, the hot water will be conveyed to the tap, without the need for additional devices, with the mixing of the thermostatic valves. Safety and comfort ANTIFREEZE In the event that the temperature in the boiler drops to 5°C, the burner ignites automatically and the circulator is activated in order to protect the appliance from damage caused by frost. This function is active with the boiler powered by the gas circuit and under electrical voltage. POST-CIRCULATION This function makes it possible to recover all the heat supplied by thermal inertia of the exchanger and transfer it to the heating system, and consequently to the rooms to be heated. This is a timer function (customizable duration) and is active after the burner goes out in heating mode. SLIDING TEMPERATURE OPERATION With the installation of the “external probe” kit it is possible to operate the boiler in sliding temperature. This means that without using the system temperature adjustment keys, the boiler will self-regulate according to the variations in external temperatures. All this translates into energy savings while ensuring maximum comfort for the user. EASY CONTROL The electronic board of DIVACONDENS D PLUS adopts the Opentherm protocol. It allows the integration of other peripheral control units such as, for example, the ROMEO remote timer control. In fact, the Opentherm standard has been specially designed to share the logic and operating algorithms of the boiler with other additional control units. As a digital protocol, it allows total integration between the boiler and the satellite, with full control of the functions from the boiler and similarly from its satellite. The boiler is equipped with a heat recovery unit on the fumes and combustion in a sealed chamber; this allows to obtain very high performance in terms of efficiency and therefore a significant energy saving. High performance and low consumption In the Ciao AT boiler, the water in the primary circuit passes through an additional exchanger, which allows you to recover energy that would otherwise be wasted. This process makes it possible to recover latent heat and therefore to further increase the performance of the boiler. The energy saving offered by a boiler is greater the higher its efficiency: Ciao AT therefore allows you to reduce gas consumption compared to a boiler without an additional exchanger. Management: The electronic panel is the interface for managing the boiler. Simple and intuitive, it allows you to adjust the boiler parameters and activate the numerous functions. The liquid crystal display provides information on the status of the device and the diagnostic codes. By turning the knobs, the heating water and domestic hot water temperature can be set easily and intuitively. The panel integrates the Sistema Clima Amico function. The Ciao AT technology makes use of the condensing exchanger which recovers the latent heat of the fumes, the same principle used by condensing boilers. The exchanger, located at the top left, is connected directly to the fan which pushes the fumes inside it, before they are definitively expelled. The difference in the temperature of the fumes between the ~140°C inlet and the ~65°C outlet of the condensing exchanger is indicative of the amount of heat recovered from them. The return from the system first passes through the condensing exchanger which recovers the heat from the fumes, and then passes through the primary exchanger, where it receives the remaining heat in order to reach the required flow temperature. The water then recovers part of the heat from the fumes, which would otherwise be expelled into the atmosphere, thus giving rise to less waste and consequently greater savings for the user. Outdoor installation: Ciao AT is designed to also be installed outdoors in partially protected places thanks to the dedicated accessories (bottom cover kit and top cover kit) and board anti-freeze protection down to 0 °C. In colder temperatures it is possible to extend the protection down to -10 °C using the special antifreeze heater kit with which the lower cover is required. Up to 17 meters of Ø 60 ducting with the Ciao AT boiler: With Ciao AT it is possible to comfortably duct even the most "difficult" flues thanks to the approval for Ø 60mm flue systems which is added to the traditional Ø 80 mm ducting flue system.
