Mitsubishi Electric MUZ-EF Mitsubishi Electric innovation has enabled the development of functions and technologies to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
Inverter technology allows you to electronically control the voltage, current and frequency of electrical appliances, including the motor that drives the compressor in air conditioning units. The advantages of this technology are significant, starting with the possibility of drastically reducing consumption and wear of the compressor. An air conditioner not equipped with an inverter device uses the alternation of on and off of the compressor to reach the set-point conditions in the environment. This not only increases the consumption of the compressor, which is called to work at full power at each start-up, but also damages the comfort in the environment, by raising the temperature excessively or starting to operate at temperatures that are too low.
Compressor
Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning units are equipped with highly efficient and innovative compressors. Mitsubishi Electric has created and developed an extremely compact and highly efficient DC Inverter electric motor called “Poki Poki”. The stator of the Poki Poki motor is not made of a single body but is sectioned into several parts. The individual cores undergo the coil winding process individually, so that the winding process minimizes dead space and increases efficiency.
