ECONCEPT ST/ IN ST are the products with which FERROLI intends to satisfy the new and more selective limits on energy consumption imposed by recent regulations, while still providing maximum comfort in space heating and in the supply of domestic hot water
ECONCEPT ST
The ECONCEPT ST range has been designed by drawing on the most advanced knowledge available today. The combustion and exchange group makes use of condensing technology while for the production of domestic hot water a dynamic stratification boiler has been adopted, capable of satisfying several users in a constant and continuous manner.
The generator is of the sealed chamber and forced draught type. Thanks to a pre-mixed air/gas supply system and the inverted micro-flame ceramic burner, it falls within the 5th class for NOx emissions. The efficiency of ECONCEPT ST is the best in its category. It is in fact certified with 4 stars according to the 92/42 EEC Directive concerning energy classification.
The built-in model ECONCEPT IN ST has been designed to offer a solution to space problems. The compactness of the collection
allows a wide choice of solutions for installation both inside and outside the home, in partially protected places. The built-in solution is offered in a single 25 kW size and with the same DHW storage tank as the wall-mounted models.
ANTI-LEGIONELLA FUNCTION
Legionella is a typical form of water contamination caused by bacteria that are particularly harmful to health; they can be shot down
bringing the water temperature to a value higher than 60°C. It is for this reason that ECONCEPT ST / IN ST, at least once a week,
they heat the DHW storage water up to 65°C regardless of the value set with the thermostat.
OPERATION IN SLIDING TEMPERATURE
With the installation of the "external probe" kit it is possible to operate the boiler in sliding temperature. This means that without acting on the keys of
regulation of the system temperature, the boiler will self-regulate according to the variations in external temperatures. This results in a
energy saving while ensuring maximum comfort for the user.
ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION
Even in stand-by mode (provided with electricity and gas supplies), i.e. in the absence of a request for heat, if ECONCEPT ST / IN ST detects a
water temperature of 5°C, activates the anti-freeze protection by igniting the burner at minimum power, in order to avoid damage due to freezing.
