These systems are necessary in the face of any faults present on the softener in order not to interrupt the supply of sanitary water. The following points are emphasised: 1. The equipment must be installed in hygienically suitable environments and, where pertinent, in compliance with the provisions established by the decree of the Minister of Economic Development of 22 January 2008, n.37, including those relating to testing and maintenance. 2. The installation of the equipment in line with the potable water distribution system must be carried out with bypass valves to guarantee the user the possibility of excluding the use of the equipment without this lead to interruption of the drinking water supply service.
